Steve from the Muay Tigers Youth Thaiboxing program is putting a little extra work in before class yesterday! This poor kid spent a few months training at a different gym in Winnipeg where they forced him to fight orthodox (right handed) when he is a natural southpaw (left handed). Being able to stand in a southpaw stance is a gift and we are working on getting that left kick going now! Let this be a reminder to all parents: please research the instructors at any martial arts facility you bring your child to. There is no standard to follow, which allows just about anyone to open their own gym. #nakmuaygym #winnipeg #muaythai #thaiboxing #kickboxing #muaydek
